Learning English from OMR

Frequently asked questions
What does the course cost?
Fees run from ₹4,000 to ₹18,000 depending on the level you start at and how long it runs. The free level test tells you your level, so you know the exact fee before deciding anything.
I am not a complete beginner. Is there anything here for me?
Yes. Many OMR learners start at Intermediate, Advanced or Business Communication. The free level test places you honestly, and if you do not need us we will say so.
Can the class fit around release weeks or exams?
Yes. One to one means there is no batch to keep up with. Move the session, keep the daily practice going, and pick the live sessions back up.
Do you do accent training?
We do accent neutralisation as part of the Advanced level, aimed at being understood the first time rather than at sounding foreign.
Is the teaching in English or Tamil?
The practice is in English. The explanation is in Tamil whenever you want it, which experienced speakers use less but still find useful for the awkward grammar.
Is there a centre on OMR?
No. Our Chennai office is on Anna Salai in Teynampet, and the classes are online, which is the point when OMR traffic is what it is.
Do I need a laptop?
No. A phone is enough. Nothing new to install, because it runs on WhatsApp.
Can I do this alongside a full-time job?
Yes. That is what most learners along OMR do. Short daily practice plus a live session at a time you choose.
